I'm working on my website, and I'm not really happy about my old logo that I don't find simple enought and I find it dificult to put it together with the text

The logo looks great. Very crisp, but also flows and I like the depth put into it. Great job!

That looks awesome dude, how do you get it to sink into the background and show that S?

I was trying to do that with my logo text, like sink it into the background but it looked crap.

you need the s already present within the square shape. So you need to work in vector shapes. Then adding a black inner glow and a black inner shadow makes it sink to the background.

If your s and your square are in different layers then the effect is harder to get.
